Mayra Uribe is Senior Vice President of Multicultural Banking at National Bank of Arizona, where she leads initiatives that expand access to financial services for emerging, small, and midsize businesses, including binational enterprises, throughout Arizona. In this role, she champions inclusive economic development by fostering strategic partnerships with nonprofit organizations, municipal and county governments, state agencies, military organizations, and private-sector leaders. She also serves as a key ambassador for the bank in community-driven efforts that strengthen local economies and increase opportunities for business growth.

 

Uribe began her banking career in Yuma, Arizona, and has built a distinguished career through progressive leadership roles in both community and regional banking. Her experience spans Arizona and South Florida, where she successfully led consumer and business banking operations across multiple markets. As a Regional District Manager for a national financial institution, she directed large, diverse teams and drove operational excellence, business development, and customer engagement initiatives.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. She is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Arizona Global Campus. She is licensed by the State of Arizona as an accident, health, credit, and life insurance producer and is fluent in Spanish.

 

Community Involvement

 

Uribe is actively engaged in civic and community leadership. She serves as a board member of the American Red Cross, a member of the City of Glendale Personnel Commission, and as an executive board member of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on the Local Advisory Committee for LISC Phoenix and on the President’s Community Advisory Council for Paradise Valley Community College.
