Get Your IOLTA on Track for the New Year

As you welcome 2018, it is time to review your current IOLTA procedures and make sure they are in the compliance with the Supreme Court Rules. This program will cover the following:

  • What trust account records are required
  • What money can and cannot be deposited into trust
  • How and when to get your money out of trust
  • How to accept credit cards
  • What exactly is a 3-way reconciliation
  • How much can or should your staff handle
  • Tips about fraud and software


Tracy L. Ward, a Business Development Officer at NB|AZ, was formerly a Practice Management Advisor with the State Bar of Arizona, Tracy traveled throughout Arizona conducting office systems assessments and advising attorneys and staff regarding efficient management procedures, manual and automated practice management systems and the proper maintenance of the IOLTA account. She also managed the Trust Account Hotline.
