Why must I make this conversion?
As part of our continuing efforts to improve our products and services, we have enhanced our NB|AZ Online Banking accessed from Quicken or QuickBooks service. The changes include additional fraud protection and increased reliability for Quicken® and QuickBooks® users.

Will this impact me?
This conversion impacts only clients who access their National Bank of Arizona bank accounts and/or pay bills using Quicken or QuickBooks. It does not impact clients who use a web browser to access NB|AZ Online Banking or Online Bill Pay.

What if I don’t convert?
If you do not complete the upcoming conversion, you will not be able to use NB|AZ Online Banking accessed from Quicken or QuickBooks after the conversion date.

How can I tell if I need to perform the conversion?

Quicken for Windows Users:
Open Quicken, select Tools, Account List, locate your bank account, then select Edit. In the Account details window, locate the field labeled Financial Institution. If it states National Bank of Arizona, you are using NB|AZ Online Banking accessed from Quicken (formerly PC Banking) and must convert.

Quicken Essentials for Mac Users:
Open Quicken, select your bank account and click Settings. In the Settings window, locate the field labeled Financial Institution. If it states National Bank of Arizona, you are using NB|AZ Online Banking accessed from Quicken (formerly PC Banking) and must convert.

Quicken 2005-2007 for Mac Users:
In the top bar, select the Lists menu and then Accounts. Select your bank account and click Edit (not Open). In the Settings window, locate the field labeled Financial Institution. If it states National Bank of Arizona, you are using NB|AZ Online Banking accessed from Quicken (formerly PC Banking) and must convert.

QuickBooks for Windows Users:
Open QuickBooks and select Lists, then Chart of Accounts. Right-click on your bank account and select Edit from the menu. Click the Online Settings tab and locate the field labeled Financial Institution. If it states National Bank of Arizona, you are using NB|AZ Online Banking accessed from QuickBooks (formerly PC Banking) and must convert.

QuickBooks for Mac Users:
Open QuickBooks and select Lists, then Chart of Accounts. Select your bank account and click the PENCIL icon (for Edit) in the Edit Account window. Select Online Services and locate the field labeled Financial Institution. If it states National Bank of Arizona, you are using NB|AZ Online Banking accessed from QuickBooks (formerly PC Banking) and must convert.

What do I need to do? How do I perform the conversion?
NB|AZ Online Banking accessed from Quicken or QuickBooks clients need to perform a sequence of conversion steps in their Quicken or QuickBooks application. These steps are described in detail in five (5) conversion guides located at http://www.nbarizona.com/Resources-FAQs.jsp. Select the correct conversion guide based on the version of Quicken or QuickBooks you use:

What version and release of Quicken or QuickBooks do I need?
Version: You must be using a supported version of Quicken or QuickBooks to perform the conversion. If you are not using a supported version, you must purchase an upgrade to a supported version from Intuit.com. Supported versions are listed below.

Release: During the conversion, you must upgrade to the latest release. This upgrade is performed within the application. Intuit does not charge a fee to upgrade to the latest release within a version. The latest releases are shown below.
  • Quicken for Windows:
    • 2010 Version: release 10 or later
    • 2011 Version: release 8 or later
    • 2012 Version: release 4 or later
  • Quicken for Mac 2005-2007
    • 2005: latest version
    • 2007 Version: release 3 or later
  • Quicken Essentials for Mac
    • Latest release
  • QuickBooks for Windows 2010-2012
    • 2010 Version: release 14 or later
    • 2011 Version: release 9 or later
    • 2012 Version: release 5 or later
  • QuickBooks for Mac 2010-2012
    • 2010 Version: release 12 or later
    • 2011 Version: release 13 or later
    • 2012 Version: release 6 or later

When should I make the conversion?
You must make the conversion between August 27, 2012 and August 31, 2012, to continue using NB|AZ Online Banking accessed from Quicken or QuickBooks without interruption.

Will my Customer (User) ID be changing?
No, your Customer (User) ID will remain the same.

Will my PIN (password) be changing?
Yes, you will receive your temporary PIN (password) in the mail. If you do not receive it by the conversion date, you can call Customer Service at 800.497.8168 8am to 8pm MST Monday – Saturday to assist in resetting your PIN (password).

How do I know I have performed the conversion successfully?
After you perform the conversion steps, you will be able to successfully login to your NB|AZ Online Banking accessed from Quicken or QuickBooks to make new transactions. Additionally, if your software supports Online Payments, you will also be able to send new payments.

What if I use another PFM (Personal Financial Management) PC Banking application?
This conversion supports Quicken and QuickBooks products. Clients using products other than Quicken and/or QuickBooks must convert to a Quicken and/or QuickBooks product to continue using PC Banking after the conversion. This conversion does not support other PFM applications such as MS Money or iBank.
