Frequently Asked Questions

What is SecurEntry?
SecurEntry is a new, free Internet Banking security feature that provides you with an extra layer of security to help protect you against identity theft and fraud. First, it recognizes you are at the valid Internet Banking site of National Bank of Arizona rather than a fraudulent look-alike web site. Second, it verifies your identity and prevents unauthorized access to your accounts.

How does SecurEntry work?
When you enroll in SecurEntry, you will be asked to choose an image, unique phrase and three challenge questions. The image and phrase you chose will be displayed every time you log on to Internet Banking – confirming that you are at the valid National Bank of Arizona web site. If you access your Internet Banking account from an unregistered computer (a computer that you have not enrolled in SecurEntry), you will be asked to answer one of the challenge questions you selected when you set up SecurEntry. Once you answer the challenge question, you will be allowed to continue the log in process.

Back

Do I have to enroll in SecurEntry?
Yes. On August 8, 2006, we will launch SecurEntry as part of our ongoing commitment to providing you a secure Internet Banking experience. As an existing Internet Banking customer of National Bank of Arizona, when you log on to Internet Banking, you will be asked to enroll in SecurEntry during the next 60 days. After this period, this feature will be a part of your standard log in procedure.

Will my log in ID and password change?
No.  For your convenience your password will not change.

Back

Will I still be able to access my Internet Banking accounts from multiple computers?
Yes. But if you access your Internet Banking account from an unregistered computer (a computer that you have not enrolled in SecurEntry), you will be asked to answer one of the challenge questions you chose when you set up SecurEntry. Once you answer the challenge question, you will be allowed to continue the log in process.

Am I able to enroll more than one computer in SecurEntry?
Yes. We recommend you only register your commonly used computers (e.g., home and office) and not computers that are available to the general public (e.g., hotels, libraries and Internet Café’s), which you may use only occasionally.

Is there a fee for using the SecurEntry feature?
No. SecurEntry is free.
