About Your Account
Zions Direct encourages you to leave your security certificates in your account to ensure maximum protection, and to have them readily available.

Your brokerage account is covered by the Securities Investment Protection Corporation (SIPC). It protects the securities in your account up to $500,000 including cash up to $100,000. In addition, the securities in your accounts are further insured up to $25 million through a private insurer. SIPC does not insure against any investment loss that a client might experience due to fluctuations in the market price of the securities held in the account.
